Unlocking this Samsung A687 requires a GSM Box called Z3X Box Samsung activated. First thing to do is you must install Samsung USB drivers. Power on the phone, insert USB cable and let it install the drivers. After that open Samsung 3g Tool 9.4. Take note when you are running on Windows 7 OS you must right click on the Samsung 3g Tool 9.4 and run as Administrator. Choose the correct phone model, then proper comport. Finally click on UNLOCK SP on the Z3X software, then on the phone press number 1 and 0 then insert USB cable without battery. The unit will be detected and SP Unlock will be calculated. See image below.
After that put a non-accepted SIMCARD on the unit, enter unlock code.
